2. Information we collect

When a buyer submits an enquiry, we collect the details the buyer provides. Depending on the form, this may include:

• name, company or buyer type, country, email address, telephone number, WhatsApp or Telegram contact;
• requested vehicle, steering side, energy type, quantity, budget, purchase purpose, destination and transport preference; and
• the message or specification request supplied by the buyer.

To understand how an enquiry reached us, the form can also record the submitted page, the first page of the visit, referring page and campaign parameters such as UTM source, medium and campaign when available. The site stores the first-visit page in browser session storage for the duration of that browser session.

To monitor real-world page performance, the site can collect anonymous Largest Contentful Paint (LCP), Interaction to Next Paint (INP) and Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS) measurements, the page pathname without query parameters, mobile or desktop device class, and navigation type. We do not store an IP address, full user-agent string, country, advertising identifier or persistent visitor identifier with these measurements. Collection is skipped when the browser enables Do Not Track (DNT) or Global Privacy Control (GPC).

To understand whether public pages lead to an enquiry, the site can also count anonymous page views, visible enquiry forms, WhatsApp, Telegram and email link clicks, form submit attempts, and whether an enquiry was saved or failed. These event counts store only the page pathname without query parameters, page group, language, a broad source category such as direct, search engine or ChatGPT, and the public form type. They do not store contact details, IP addresses, full user-agent strings, raw referring URLs, advertising identifiers or persistent visitor identifiers. This collection is also skipped when DNT or GPC is enabled.

3. Why we use this information

We use the information to answer vehicle availability, sourcing, wholesale and export questions; prepare an appropriate quotation or buyer brief; communicate about the enquiry; maintain a business record of the conversation; and protect the website and enquiry process from misuse.

We do not use enquiry details for unrelated advertising. If we ever introduce optional marketing communications, we will give the buyer a clear choice and update this policy where required.

4. Where information is shared

We share information only where it is reasonably necessary for the enquiry or required by law. This can include website and hosting providers that store or protect the enquiry record, communication services selected by the buyer such as WhatsApp, Telegram or email, and vehicle, inspection, logistics or document partners where the buyer asks us to progress a specific sourcing or export request.

When a buyer opens WhatsApp or Telegram from this website, the communication is handled by that platform under its own privacy terms. We recommend reviewing those terms before sending sensitive information.

5. International handling

Jerry Auto serves buyers in multiple countries. Information may therefore be processed or accessed in China and in other locations where our service providers or the buyer's selected communication platform operate. We take reasonable steps to use information only for the purposes described in this policy.

6. Retention and security

We keep enquiry records for as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain the related commercial record, handle follow-up or meet legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards for the website and its enquiry records, but no online transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Anonymous website performance samples and conversion-event counts are retained for no longer than 35 days and are then deleted.

7. Your requests

You may contact us to ask for a copy, correction or deletion of your enquiry information, or to object to further follow-up. We will respond in line with applicable law and any necessary business or legal record-keeping requirements.
